Valley Forward & Green Ideas Partner To Offer Cities LEED Training / Accreditation
As part of this year's Livability Summit, two municipal representatives will receive free workshop training on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) from Green Ideas Environmental Building Consultants, plus Valley Forward will donate the fee for them to take the US Green Building Council LEED professional accreditation exam. Any Valley community that sends even just one representative to this event is eligible for a drawing to win this prize, valued at $1,600. The city or town manager in the winning community will be asked to identify a staff person to take advantage of this offer.
The carbon emissions produced by buses at
this event will be neutralized through the
purchase of carbon offsets. Plans are in
place to make the entire Livability Summit
carbon negative.
