In the not so distant past, full-service real estate companies were charged with leasing, the physical maintenance of the property ("cut the grass" and "clean the glass"), rent collection and regular reporting. As such, very little thought or energy was given to other aspects of the real estate asset. There was minimal connection between the various service lines that interacted with the property.
